About me I am a Clinical Neuropsychologist and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Washington University in St. Louis. I obtained my Ph.D. in Clinical Neuropsychology in 2022. My work is motivated by two questions. First, is exercise beneficial for cognitive and brain health and what are the underlying mechanisms of these effects? Second, what recommendations or interventions can we implement to facilitate greater engagement in exercise and physical activity? The overarching goal of my research is to improve the health of older adults and individuals at risk of Alzheimer disease and reduce the public health burden resulting from a sedentary lifestyle. As a former Division-I tennis player, in my free time I like to play tennis and stay active. I also enjoy singing and dancing salsa. |
